Our Memory Care services were designed to relieve our residents and their families from the daily cares that are necessary for a happy and thriving life.

Our Memory Care apartments at Meadow Ridge Senior Living are designed to enhance the quality of life for the individual with Alzheimer's, dementia or other forms of memory loss while providing a comfortable home-like atmosphere that encourages participation in programs. Individuals are accepted into our Memory Care facility following a comprehensive nursing assessment of cognitive, physical, and social levels of functioning.

The Memory Care program administered by our staff is designed to stimulate and nurture memory preservation and development. We utilize smaller group activities and programs that specifically focus on each resident’s capabilities. Interactive games and group events also add to our residents’ enjoyment.

FINANCIAL OPTIONS AVAILABLE

At Meadow Ridge Senior Living, we believe everyone should have access to quality, affordable care regardless of their personal or financial circumstances. Many seniors desire community-based living instead of a nursing home but lack the necessary financial resources to afford this option. Minnesota state medical assistance enables individuals to enjoy an independent lifestyle in a senior community with assisted living services tailored to meet their needs.

MEADOW RIDGE ACCEPTS ELDERLY WAIVER

We accept Minnesota’s Elderly Care Waiver for approved applicants. With state medical care, you can enjoy an independent lifestyle with assisted living services that meet your individual needs. The elderly waiver is for people 65+ who are eligible for medical assistance and require the level of care provided by a nursing facility. The program provides funds for home and community-based services for seniors with limited financial resources.

PERSONAL CARE PACKAGES

Assisted Memory Support — Resident cooperates in assisting with routine cares such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting. Assistance is needed with medication monitoring, and resident’s behaviors may require occasional staff intervention.

Moderate Memory Support — Resident may be incontinent of bowel and bladder. Resident requires direct assistance of one staff person with dressing, grooming, bathing, medications, and/or management of incontinence. Resident’s behaviors may require frequent staff intervention.

Advanced Memory Support — Resident may be incontinent of bowel and bladder. Direct assistance from one staff member is required for dressing, grooming, bathing, medications, and/or management of incontinence. Resident’s behaviors may require frequent staff intervention. Package includes moderate memory support and assistance of a two- person transfer.
